2026 ATLAS RIDING SCHOOL SUMMER CAMPS

(New Location: 47225 SE Clausen Rd, Estacada, OR 97023)

What to expect:

Daily camp activities include basic horsemanship such as groundwork, grooming, tacking and untacking, riding, and keeping human and horse bodies safe around one another. Campers also participate in basic equine management such as feeding, sweeping, and cleaning a stall. Campers will also take nature walks, participate in craft time, and have some unstructured rest/play time. We also try to bring in outside presenters to expand our curriculum; these vary depending on availability.

While all of our campers do advance their riding abilities, our focus is on fun and helping each one of them to remain calm and centered while they spend time at the barn with us. We divide our riders by ability, so all of our camps are of mixed ability levels.  We offer a variety of opportunities, but we firmly believe in a child-led approach, and we never force anyone to ride. We do have lots of experience working with lots of kids, but if your child has special needs please feel free to reach out and ask if they would be a good fit for our camps and we can help decide with you.

·        All camps will run from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday with optional before and after care from 7:30am-5:30pm. (*ish… see below)

·        Camp is for ages 6 and up, we can sometimes be flexible so please reach out and ask!

·        All camps will be $500 per week.

·        Before and after care is an extra $100 per week, and since we know it’s a bit of a trek to our new location we are going to be flexible on the 7:30am drop off/5:30pm pick up (within reason)

·        Discounts

o   We offer a 10% sibling discount

o   We offer a 10% discount when you book more than one week

o   We have a sliding scale option. These spots are limited, so please reach out soon!

·        We require 100% payment at the time of registration unless you reach out and ask for a payment plan.

·        We will be offering a 100% refund for up to 30 days prior to the first day of camp (and later if we are able to fill your spot).

·        We really try to make things flexible and accessible so it’s really okay to ask, and we will try to accommodate if we can!

Adult Camp will be the week of August 17th-21st from 6-9pm, this camp is $400 with similar activities but more time in the saddle and more of an emphasis on trail rides. Adult campers can add an additional warm up and stretch package, with supplemental take home workouts which will start at 5pm each day for an additional $100 for the week.

(We handle food differences/allergies by asking that all campers bring their own meals and snacks and that they not share food without parent permission.)
