Welcome to our very first newsletter. Our little barn in the woods has been full of small changes and soft new beginnings, and it feels good to finally share those chapters with all of you! We’re grateful for you, and we keep tending this place with care, hoping it grows the way good things do; slowly, warmly, and in all the right ways.
Website- We have spent the past few months tending to our website the same way we tend to the barn itself, making sure it feels like home for our whole barn family. Every photo you’ll see now is one of our own horses, and the words reflect what we do best: relaxed instruction that still takes horsemanship seriously and helps you grow as a rider.
We have switched our booking platform back to Appointy (after many requests). It makes it much easier to book repeat lessons and check what you already have scheduled. Along with that change, we have added a five dollar increase to each lesson to help offset booking fees and rising costs. We want to stay affordable for our families, and we also want to stay open and thriving for years to come. Please hop over to see the updates: atlasridingschool.com
Updates- We’ve made a few thoughtful changes to keep our barn as calm and safe as it feels on its best days. Beginning group lessons have stepped aside, replaced by a four‑class Beginning-Horsemanship course that lets new riders learn slowly and confidently. Instructors will help each student know when it’s time to move forward. Email us: hello@atlasridingschool.com
Jumping groups are resting for now, giving our older horses the gentler rhythm their bodies deserve. If jumping is part of your riding journey, we’re happy to help you find a barn that specializes in it. Riders who want an introduction to jumping can still schedule a lesson with Ruby for some one‑on‑one instruction.
We’ve also added new classes shaped by what our riders have been asking for: Two by Two, Three for All, Try It Out, and more small, steady spaces to learn and grow. You can explore them on the Our Classes page of our website.
Retreat-We are so excited to be offering our very first Adults Only retreat on Sunday October 18th from 10am-4pm for both riders and those who wish to keep their feet on the ground. Come find your peace among the equines! Check out Serenity Sunday on the Camps and Events page.
Winter Camps-Our Cozy Winter Camps are returning this year, and we’re so happy to open the barn doors for them again! Clop on over to our Camps and Events page to read about our one‑day November camp and our three‑day December camp, each shaped to bring a little winter magic to our younger riders.
Thank you for being here with us. This little barn in the woods feels brighter because of the people who fill it, and we are grateful for every step you take alongside our horses. We cannot wait to share more quiet magic with you in the months ahead.
